Some state that she died young; others that she married and remained in Virginia. He married Ruth Ford October 29, 1803. This being the earliest Williamson record found in any of the Big Sandy Valley Records. Also at Prestonsburg there is a record of Hammonds' buying a farm on John's Creek from Joseph Baisden in 1815.
