Shared note	Gideon Williamson married Frances Vinson, daughter of Lafe Vinson. They lived on the Kentucky side of the tug river at Saltpetre. Some family records show Gideon Williamson's birth in 1851 and death in 1935. 1900 Census of Lawrence County Kentucky District No.1/Louisa Town, conducted June 1, 1900 by enumerator Wade H. Muncy, shows Gid's birth as January 1847. 1900 Census says Gideon was born in West Virginia, his father Elias was born in Kentucky and his mother Malenda Marcum was born in Virginia. Buried at family cemetery on hill over-looking Route 23, above the locks (above site of lock-houses). A Vinson has built a two story brick home below the cemetery.
