1900 Census of Lawrence County Kentucky - District 1 Louisa Town - conducted
June 1, 1900 by enumerator Wade H. Muncy says: Lace was born in 1892 rather
than the 1891 showing on his grave marker in the family cemetery on Route 3 in
Louisa, behind the site of the lock-houses (now built at that location is a two
story brick home owned by ________ Vinson).

Lace Z. Williamson married Sammie Ferrell (Clarke) 3/18/1921 in Williamson
(Mingo County) West Virginia. Copy of Marriage Certificate on file.
Married by Reverend Cunningham, Methodist Minister. Record No. 16, page 188.

Died 3/9/1937 in Riverview Hospital, Louisa Kentucky, as result of
complications of pneumonia.

Served as a Corporal in U.S. Army during the first World War - 19th
Headquarters, Camp Sheridan, Alabama. He enlisted on 8/7/1918, when he was 26
and single at the time. At the time of his enlistment, Lace Williamson, Sr.
was listed, by occupation, as a farmer, with blue eyes, brown hair and ruddy
complexion, 5'10" tall. Honorably Discharged 2/22/1919 from Camp Zachary
Taylor, Kentucky by Charles O. Marfel, Major & paid $60.
(His son Lace, Jr and Lace, Jrs'. sons
David and Steven Williamson all had or have blue eyes, brown hair and stand 5
feet, ten inches tall).
